The Humane Society of Decatur And Macon County is hopeful the community will "Raise The Woof" by donating to help us reach our goal to provide a permanent home in our community to help homeless animals. The HSDMC needs to raise $225,000 to purchase a facility and remodel to accommodate visiting rooms for potentially adoptive families to meet and greet the pets for adoption, a much needed reception and office area, quarantine room, one additional cat room, new kennels for dogs and puppies, new tub, and, security video equipment.  Any funds raised above the needed amount will go into a building maintenance fund.
Several fundraisers are being planned to help us reach our goal.
Our next fundraising event "Furry Friends Chili FUNraiser"will be
